100 HAPPY DAYS // 1-9

Can you be happy for 100 days in a row? I took the challenge, and now have to photograph one thing that makes me happy every day. As I am a bit of a perfectionist, I was afraid to fall into the big old "I don't have time for this"-trap. But I set a couple of rules for myself to more easily complete the challenge:

First of all, I startet taking photos of everything that makes me happy in one day. When I look back at that day in the evening, I realise how blessed I am to have such a great life and so awesome people around me. Basically, I am more happy than before.

Second, I only let myself edit the photos into black and white. That way I don't have to spend too much time on the actual editing and publishing, but I get to work on this challenge every single day.

If you want to just be a little bit more happy, take the challenge as well! I dare you be happy for 100 days.

25 MBPS

Throwback-selfie to illustrate how happy I am right now.
I keep on coming and going. One week I can write several posts, the next one - none. That's not the way to be a blogger, and I know that. The thing is – yeah, would you like to hear my excuse this time? – I barely have any Internet connection at all. In my flat, there is absolutely NO cell-coverage, and basically no Internet. Therefore, continuous blogging becomes an issue for me.

This rainy Friday I have some time off from work, so I arranged to stay at my boyfriend's flat while he is working.
I just have to say; ERMAHGERD, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY MADE INTERNET THIS FAST. So here I am, catching up on some reading, writing and complaining – trying to get myself a new Internet-provider ASAP.

What are you guys up to?

INSANELY GREAT

I didn't quite get it. I didn't get how exhausting it would be, but only in the good ways. Working a lot is something I am used to; still this is different. Actually planning things ahead and knowing when I need to step back and rest a bit. Not putting too much stuff into one week. Priorities mean so much more than ever before. "No, I can not do EVERYTHING." I actually have to tell myself that. It does feel good though; growing and learning but trying to not become an adult too soon. Only making room for, not even the good stuff, only the great.

What great things are you making room for these days?

DRUNK IN LOVE

Loving this emoji version of "Drunk in Love" by Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Watch and laugh.

S P R I N G

Suddenly, spring is here. As the days get longer it seems there is more time as well. Time I like to spend with loved ones, time I enjoy being outside and time for even more kissing. If you thought I was too "ichy" and in love before, you should see me now. I am in love with LIFE right now.

The days pass and I do my best to get as much out of them as possible. Actually, my face hurts from smiling this much, and that is an awesome feeling.

How are you spending these first spring-days?

FORTRESS

When there are too many voices and too much noise, I need to listen to a great piece of music. It completely calms me down, no matter the situation. You are hereby urged to just relax and enjoy whatever music you find amazing.

IN THE FUTURE N' STUFF

I want to travel. See the world, get lost in a place far, far away. I want to smell new smells, talk to people who don't know English. Have conversations that matter with someone I probably never will meet again, but always keep in my heart.

I want to have a great apartment with white, wooden walls and a smeg-fridge. With art everywhere and clean surfaces.

I want to make a baby's room, even though I am not having any kids just yet. I'll put the huge Donald poster up there, and some Winnie the Pooh-cards. The stuff I keep saving for no reason but this.

I want a loft that is filled with lights where I can work and design and be creative, like any other cliché graphic designer. It needs huge windows, a lot of daylight and an iMac.

I want to actually live my life and not snap and tweet it. I would like to enjoy the moments I have with the people surrounding me and photograph them. Then I want to create lots of albums filled with memories, so we can look back when we're old and both laugh and cry over the amazing times we had together.
