SANDANE

Traveling home always brings out a special feeling. Everything is the same way it has always been, more or less. You get served the same food that you love, hang out at the same places you always did and meet the same people that has always been there. It gets extra interesting when bringing someone new into the family. You get to show them around and share all the traditions you have made through the years.

I am loving my easter break that contains all of this along with a sun-burned nose, drinking Solo and eating just a little bit too much sweets with my loved ones.

THAT TIME OF THE YEAR

I think this happens every summer; too many things are happening at the same time and suddenly it has been almost two weeks since my last blog-post. Even though I am not having a "summer vacation", I can tell when everyone else is. Friends who spent the last months studying for exams are open to spending time with each other again. They start to plan little trips, arrange huge parties and invite everyone over for dinner.

In addition to this, there is also a lot more to do at work, which means longer hours and spending some more time there. When I get off, the last thing on my mind is sitting by the computer when there is sunshine (and Norwegian nature) just outside my door.

I can not say that I have a very exciting summer ahead, because I do plan to spend as much time as possible at my job, but I like to make the best of the time there is. The summer will bring many concerts, barbeques, hiking in the mountains and having a lot of great people around me. To me, that is a perfect summer of twothousandandthirteen.

BAILE ÁTHA CLIATH

What Dublin had to offer on my tiny holiday: late night walks in Temple Bar, wearing just too little clothes to stay warm. We did stay safe though, so dad, there is no need to panic right now.

Like Carrie said: "People in their twenties always knows the right B-people; bartenders, bouncers, busboys..." And so we befriended the bartender, which actually paid off.

We spent oh so many hours in town, shopping, museuming, photographing and even eating a little bit. But mostly shopping.

Just before take-off we managed to fit in some time for afternoon tea. This might not have been the best idea, traveling with that much sugar in ones body does not feel good. No worries, I managed, all the way back to Bergen.

Visiting a brand new city is always awesome, and Dublin reminded me of an uptight and a little bit ugly Bristol.
I liked it.

EIGHT IN EASTER

ONE I absolutely love coffee and Coca-Cola, can not live without it.

TWO One of the things I seriously hate in life are people who's always late.

THREE I am very close to being a hoarder.

FOUR Creating something is the best feeling in the world, but I am usually too lazy to do that so I surf the web instead.

FIVE When I get angry I break stuff.

SIX At work, I am the boss, but I don't usually say that to people. Probably because of the Jantelov which says "You shall not think you are anything or better than anyone."

SEVEN If I had to have another job than what I do now, the dream would be to work in an Apple Store.

EIGHT I hope I get to move back to England again, soon.

SHE SAID, SHE SAID

On my left hand side the sun is shining through the window and a can of coffee is brewing. My Mac plays cool tunes and I seriously can't remember the last time I surfed the web or checked my e-mail. I have completely left the machine behind and done everything else this week. Hung out with friends, been out photographing, designed wedding invitations and I am amost done creating a video from last year's Hovefestival. Everyone is going on holidays for the Easter, but I have decided to stay home and work.

When Easter has ended I am apparantly going to move again. I will go back to my old apartment which has been completely renovated. This means I have more than enough to do and things to go through while I am "home alone" this long-weekend. How are things on your end?
