FJELL FORTRESS

In the rare occation of sunshine and a lot of spare time, it was time for a classic Sunday-roadtrip. I asked the boyfriend to bring me somewhere I had never been before which led us to Fjell Fortress.

The first thing that met us was this incredible pond which seemed to come from nowhere. It was surrounding all the trees, and we found no end to it.

With a sign leading to Fjell Fortress, we decided to walk. After all, how far could it be?

We kept walking for some time and was met by both an incredible view as well as some quite cool army-vehicles.

I had of course decided to dress for the occation; wearing the typical Norwegian Marius-jumper and a skirt.

As we came further up the mountain there were more army-stuff. On one top this guy was just standing there, armed – something I found to be weird as there were nothing but nature surrounding us.

When we found bunkers, we played for a bit.

After a walk that was a lot longer than planned, we reached the top and I loved the view. I think I love all views to be honest.

We decided to head home. That's when the rain startet pouring down. So there I was, in the middle of nowhere dressed in a skirt and jumper only.

Back in the car and completely soaked. It wouldn't have been a perfect Sunday without that rain.

GREY

Grey days make room for grey outfits. If it's going to keep pouring down like this outside, I'll stay in with my iPhone well planted in my hand.

One day, I will go on vacation to a nice and warm place. One day.

SACRED

As you might have picked up on, I get very "weather-ill". This means that when it rains, I sit in my apartment and watch tv-series all evening. The second the sun is out, I go straight to the garden. That is my sacred moments, sitting in my Coca-Cola chair while listening to the radio or reading a magazine. I will sit in that spot until the sun has gone completely away, because it is the best way to relax after what they call "a hard days work".

And yeah, you caught me, this image is taken a few days ago.

CIRCLES

My second contribution to the august break. As I was walking to work this morning, the rain was really pouring down. I was wearing my boots, a raincoat and I carried a huge umbrella – still I was soaked. There were enough thunder and lightening to have an effect on my entire flat, and now I am without any kind of lights in the bathroom. To make it better, I am going to have a birthday-party tomorrow, so that might get interesting... Hope you guys are enjoying the rainy days as much as I am.

SUCK IT

Some days just suck. For me, it is usually in the weekends if I have the days off from work. When it is constantly raining, like here in Bergen, going out and meeting new people is not always a temptation. And I have realised, I need to go out and meet more people, because I am left as the only single lady in my group of friends - which basically means; no cosy-wine-filled-evenings, without them planning it with the boyfriends first. This again leaves me to take on all the wine-drinking alone. In the end this leads me to having to meet more people who also enjoy a spontaneaous glass every now and then.

Then there are that kind of days that just suck, but turn out great! This is when you are dragging your ass around, trying to find something to do, but end up all alone with the wine again, in the middle of the day. Suddenly, the sun starts to shine and calls out for you; "Come play with me!" – and you go do that for several hours.

Those are the best kind of days, because I absolutely love being outdoors. And even if it feels like it never stops raining, being in Norway when the weather is great is so damn beautiful.

SNOWAY

Blag, I miss you! I'm back sooner than you know it, but in the meantime - look at the snow! Yeah, in Norway it is snowing today, thankyouverymuch.
