100 HAPPY DAYS // 10 - 27

Today I am happy about...

All the flowers surrounding me.  //  The most amazing B&O Beolit 12 at work.  //  Changing all the icons.  //  Just Apple stuff!  //  Going on holiday.  //  Old Macs and other Apple-stuff.  //  Ending the holiday with some B&J.  //  Starting the day in a great way.  //  Eating a lot of fun food.

A girl's gotta eat!  //  Mysterious boxes.  //  Turbonegro concert with the boyfriend.  //  My new hobby  //  Discovering the most amazing places.  //  El iPhonus del neue.  //  Getting straight into bed after today's WOD.  //  The smell of a new shampoo and conditioner.  //  Making new friends and exhanging numbers.

100 HAPPY DAYS // 1-9

Can you be happy for 100 days in a row? I took the challenge, and now have to photograph one thing that makes me happy every day. As I am a bit of a perfectionist, I was afraid to fall into the big old "I don't have time for this"-trap. But I set a couple of rules for myself to more easily complete the challenge:

First of all, I startet taking photos of everything that makes me happy in one day. When I look back at that day in the evening, I realise how blessed I am to have such a great life and so awesome people around me. Basically, I am more happy than before.

Second, I only let myself edit the photos into black and white. That way I don't have to spend too much time on the actual editing and publishing, but I get to work on this challenge every single day.

If you want to just be a little bit more happy, take the challenge as well! I dare you be happy for 100 days.

BACK TO THE WOODS

I spent this rainy Friday evening outside in the forest. We were a few people who created a fire, grilled hot dogs and marshmallows and just sat there talking for hours. The rule was; no one was allowed to bring their phones.

We have all played the game where we pile up the phones on the table and the first one to touch theirs loses, and this was like the next step from that. Just the day before I attended a gaming-night where the game stopped due to some people Snapchatting and Instagramming it all.

It is a familiar issue these days, and I am not saying I am better than anyone in any way! I am just as bad as everyone else, I love to Tweet, Snap and Insta – and I have kind of "owned that" until now. I think it is time to change.

It seems like many people are realising this and want to do something about how sharing- and like-addicted we've all become. My friend showed me this video, which is one of many that is appearing right now, and it does put things in perspective.

As my dream job is to work with Apple-products, I am not saying I am going to completely shut down on this technology-stuff. But when there are social events, or I am just going out for a walk in the sunset, there is no need to capture every single moment and have to share it instantly on three different channels. It gets exhausting and I don't want to look back at my twenties and remember "scroll, tap tap, scroll, tap tap" as the one thing I spent my time on.

What do you think, Square Eyes?
