At first there was so much fog, I could barely see in front of me. As I walked further and closer to both the city centre and closer to 11AM, the sun started to shine. Believe me, that is a rare thing to happen in Bergen in January. The fog and the sunlight mixed into this beautiful sight, and I was lucky enough to be there to enjoy it. I rang up my friend, who I was already running late to meet, and told her to get out of bed because she HAD TO see this awesome sight. Lucky for me, she overslept and I got to wander the streets of Bergen some more, photographing every rim of sunlight I could find.
In just a few minutes, the sky suddenly turned grey again. The sunlight went away somewhere behind the mountains I guess, and the rest of the day had a very sad cloud hanging over it. Still, it felt awesome to be outside for almost two hours, watching the strange weather and paying curiously attention to people's reactions. I truly hope I get to experience more days like this, because I would do anything to spend some time outdoors, as long as it doesn't rain.
I really hate rain.
I have to add that these images are barely edited, this is what it actually looked like. And no, I didn’t do anything with the white balance. And no, I didn’t want to.
Absolutely gorgeous.
